Depression research wants to bring light back to your view. Learn about the VENTURA-1 research study for adults and elderly people with major depressive disorder (MDD) who experience a loss of interest in pleasures.


To potentially be in this study, you must:


  • Be 18 to 74 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with depression
  • Be experiencing depressive symptoms despite currently taking antidepressant medication

To be eligible for this study, participants must:


  • Be at least 6 years old
  • Be diagnosed with Tourette's Disorder
  • Weigh at least 18 kg (39.6 lb)

VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) therapy is a treatment that has already been well studied and was approved by the FDA in 2005 for people with difficult-to-treat depression, also called treatment-resistant depression.


To join the RECOVER study you must be 18 years or older and:


  • Currently depressed
  • Have depression, or bipolar depression that has lasted for at least two years or recurred several times


Have tried at least four types of antidepressant treatments and not found them helpful

AFIB Study Join this clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication to reduce the risk of atrial fibrillation (AF or AFib) complications.


You, or someone you care for, may be able to take part in this study if you/they:


  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation.


If you are interested, the study doctor or study team will check to see if you meet other eligibility criteria. 


The study will not pay for other medical care or current medication(s) needed to support your daily healthcare routine.

Are you struggling to control very high levels of triglycerides? If so, help us test a research medication that may lower triglyceride (TG) levels in people whose TG levels are very high, a condition known as severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).


Who can join the study? You may be able to join if you meet these criteria:


  • You are willing to review and sign the Informed Consent Form (ICF), showing you agree to participate
  • You are at least 22 years old
  • You are diagnosed with SHTG (blood TG levels of 500 mg/dl or higher)

  • Have been diagnosed with major depression and have not responded to antidepressants

A Research Study for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

 

Do you have a depressed mood?

Have you lost interest in usually pleasurable activities?

Do you have feelings of guilt or worthlessness,

lack of energy, or poor concentration?

 

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 65 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with major depression by your healthcare provider
  • Have not responded to at least 1 but no more 3 treatment options for depression Additional research study eligibility requirements apply, and only study healthcare professionals can determine if you are eligible to participate in the research study

  • Have a diagnosis of ADHD

To Join Triton Study, potential participants must:


  • Be a current or ex-smoker at least 40 years of age
  • Have beendiagnosed with COPD for at least one year
  • Require daily medication to conrol their COPD Symptoms
